Heathsville Farmers’ Market is the 3rd Saturday of the month starting in April and going through October. The time is 9 am to 1 pm. We have lots of vendors: fresh produce, plants, nursery items, furniture, baked goods, local meat and cheese, and locally-made handcrafts. Our artisan guilds are open and operating as well, including the Blacksmith Shop, Woodworkers, Spinners & Weavers, and Quilters. The market is located on the grounds of Historic Rice’s Hotel / Hughlett’s Tavern, which dates back to the late 1700’s. Inside the Tavern is our “Heritage Arts Center” Gift Shop, which features working artists studios, a gallery and locally-made artisan wares. Our Artisan Cafe’ is open for homemade soup and fresh-baked bread, provided by our new Culinary Arts Guild. For a quick bite, visit our outside food concession. Every Heathsville Farmers Market has a theme. At our season-opening market, shoppers will also enjoy a quilt show and sale, an earth day celebration, music, 5K Road race, and the Northern Neck Wine Fest.
